Music of the Week
We believe that children should be exposed to a wide range of musical genres and styles, and to support this we have a whole school ‘music of the week’ that is shared with children and discussed in class. Music of the Week runs alongside City of the Week and Artwork of the Week over a 2 week cycle.
Each piece has been carefully chosen by school staff to provide children with a wealth of musical experiences and knowledge. Staff and children discuss the pieces using appropriate musical vocabulary for their year group.
