Geography

As a school, we feel it is important for children to be aware of significant cities, countries and regions around the world. As well as geography lessons, children are also taught about a ‘city of the week’. Children look at where the city is on a map, discuss what country it is in, look at where it is in relation to other cities and countries, compare it to where we live, and find out about famous landmarks or historical/cultural features of the city.
