About Our School
Kiveton Park Infant School is a special place which sits in the heart of the village of Kiveton Park. As an aspirational infant school, we embrace our strong links with the local community and the successful relationships nurtured between our school, children and families.
Our team of experienced and highly skilled staff are committed to providing a caring, safe and engaging environment. We value our role in preparing children for adulthood and therefore embrace diversity. We support all children to thrive and achieve their full potential, regardless of their needs or background.
We understand the importance of a healthy mind and the need for children to develop resilience, respect, independence and self-confidence. Teaching and learning opportunities are ambitious, carefully planned and progressive. This results in children acquiring a deep knowledge and understanding of their teachings. Our commitment to ensuring that all children flourish and enjoy their education is paramount to our school’s success.
The children’s journey begins in our school run nursery, ensuring the highest level of care and education from the very beginning. Here, the children’s development is fostered through a wide range of opportunities for exploratory play and informed by the children’s interests. Our belief is that success is rooted within strong foundations and that these prepare our children well for their transition to the junior school.
We are dedicated to working in partnership with parents and carers and welcome your support and involvement. We work collaboratively with all our pre-school providers and the junior school to ensure that our children transition positively to and from our school.
On behalf of the children, staff and governors I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. If you would like any further information or would like to visit our school, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
