At Kiveton Park Infant School we endeavour to offer an environment that is welcoming, a place where learning is at the centre of all we do and every child is nurtured to help them achieve their full potential.
We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Sporting Value Award for the last half-term! Each half-term, our teachers select students who have demonstrated outstanding qualities in PE lessons, focusing on resilience, teamwork, positive attitudes, and respect. We are proud to recognise the following these students for their achievements 😊 Congratulations to all the winners for their hard work! 🎉
Our new art club is a big hit! The club take on a different project each week. It was lovely to see everyone concentrating so hard on this task where they used paints to create their own creatures 🎨🖌️
Starling class recently visited the library for the very first time. The children found out all about how the library works and created their own fairy tale bookmarks 📚
It was lovely to see this F2 phonics learning this morning - she thought of and wrote this sentence all by herself. Her teachers were really proud of her spelling and handwriting ☺️
The children in KS1 had a fantastic time today, taking part in some art workshops. The workshops are being run by a former student at KPI, Bethany, who is now studying art at university and is running the workshops as part of a project for her degree. It was lovely to welcome Bethany back to KPI, and hear about all the things she has been up to since she left. She’s got 2 more workshops planned for this half term, and I know all the children are really excited for them 😊
